Hello,

I am Fr Yoseph Rettob msc from Indonesia. I have been here in Marshall Islands for 1 year 2 months. I am replace Fr Amandus. But i am not in Jaluit Parish ( Fr Amandus before) but in Holy Rosary, Likiep Atoll.

I arrived in Likiep december 29 2013. And on march the peoples in my parish run out of water. Many of them came to me and ask water. Not only the peoples from main islands in Likiep but the others islands belong to Likiep Atoll came and asked drinking water from me. They came and asked because in the past the priests build a small tank for drinking water if raining. sometimes it is hard for me because many of them came and not anough for all but also for Suster and me.

As we know that in northern of Marshall Islands so rarely rain. Now the peoples start come to me and ask water because since december not so much rain here. Now hot and hot. Many times in mass i asked the peoples we pray and asked the Lord may He gives to us in Likiep good weather espacially  anough rain.

Fr Adrian, i noticed the situation here so i try to inform you and if possible i can ask some tanks so that we have anough drin-king water when dry season for few months.

I am still in my parish, Holy Rosary Likiep. I will go to Majuro after easter.

Thanks so much and may The Sacred Heart to be loved everywhere.

Oce Rettob, msc, Likiep Atoll
